Also, the CO2 emissions are scaled at 121g/km.The optional 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine delivers 138 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Those figures are just enough for such a compact crossover. Both engines are available with the Suzuki’s latest AllGrip four-wheel-drive system. Furthermore, both manual and automatic transmissions are in the offer. The 2020 Vitara will be offered across the whole world, so some markets could get a diesel drivetrain. Unfortunately, Suzuki didn’t announce anything about the diesel variant right now.
2020 Suzuki Vitara Sport
The 2020 Suzuki Vitara Sport or Vitara S is a sportier version that will hit the markets in the near future. This variant will cost above $30,000 and it will offer a higher level of comfort. Moreover, the performance will get a slight boost. The exterior looks very sporty and more aggressive than the regular Vitara.Vitara Sport will use the same 1.4-liter Boosterjet engine that will deliver slightly better performance than on the base model. 17-inch wheels, leather seats with red stitching and much more are available as standard.
2020 Suzuki Vitara price and availability
We’ll have to wait a little bit more for the complete specs and details. That includes the price as the 2020 Suzuki Vitara will surely cost more than the current model. New color options, new engine, wheel design, interior boost, and other changes will for sure raise the price. This subcompact crossover will cost around $22,000.The price stands for the base trim called “SZ4”. The mid-range SZ-T will cost around $25,000 and the SZ5 models are priced at almost $30,000.
Rivals
The new Vitara will compete against the Nissan Juke and Honda HR-V. The European markets will get new Vitara in the coming days. The U.S. markets will have to wait a couple of months longer.
