There is another mystery about the forthcoming 2021 Ford F-250 and it is the powertrain. Some rumors are saying the 7.0-liter V8 could replace the current 6.2-liter V8. This is a speculation for now. Meanwhile, the current standard engine is the 6.2-liter V8 that generates 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.The diesel engine is optional, a 6.7-liter delivers 440 horses and whooping 925 lb-ft of torque. Of course, if you need this pickup for towing and hauling heavier cargo, diesel variant is more recommendable. Thanks to that, F-250 can tow up to 13,000 pounds. Both powertrains are using Blue Oval’s new 10-speed automatic gearbox.
2021 Ford F-250 price and release date
The starting price of the 2021 Ford F-250 is somewhere around $35,000. Numerous trim levels are available, just like different cab configurations. With that in mind, the price for a fully loaded F-250 could go up to $70,000. The pickup will arrive later in 2019, around November.
