The new 2021 Toyota RAV4 will come with two engines gas and hybrid. The first one gasoline will use a 2.5-liter engine that produces 203 HP. This engine is available with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy is also good and this model gives 26 mpg in the city/ 34 mpg on the highway and 29 mpg combined. The suspension is great as the handling of this model. Also, the towing capacity is better and with the adventure model, the tow goes up to 3500 pounds.
2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid
The 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid variant will be more efficient. This engine comes with a strong 2.5-liter 4-cylinder and with two electric motors. The gas engine produces 176-horsepower, while the two electric 118 horsepower output. Combined the hybrid version gets a total output of 219 HP. The two electric motors are now smaller and lighter and will improve fuel economy.This type of engine comes with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (CVT) that will reduce transmission losses by 25 percent compared to the current model. As for the fuel economy, it will be much improved and owners will get, 41 mpg in the city and 37 on the highway as 39 mpg combined.
2021 Toyota RAV4 MSRP and release date
The MSRP of the previous 2019 Toyota RAV4 model has been $25,500. However, the approaching 2021 Toyota RAV4 offers many new techs and we can expect a small increase in price. Also, the price of the last year trims XLE, XLE Premium, Adventure, Limited and Hybrid will cost a couple of thousand more. The release of this model will be sometime in the year 2021.
