2023 Honda Accord Redesign, Specs, Hybrid, & Photos

2023 Honda Accord Redesign, Specs, Hybrid, & Photos. It should be exciting to know what’s going on with 2023 Honda Accord. Accord has been one of the best vehicles in midsize sedan category. The last update for Accord took place in 2018, and it had done a good job in raising the bar. The car was super refined, and the 2021 model also had minor tweaks and updates. It is quite logical that only minor updates will be implemented to the Accord, especially for the 2023 model.

2023 Honda Accord Interior

In 2021 alone, Accord had switched the EX with the Sport Special Edition. Previous manual transmission is no longer available. More changes are happening on the technologies, including 8-inch display screen with touchscreen technology, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and also smartphone integration. These things will not likely to change for the 2023 model.

Accord has been known as this convenient and comfortable midsize sedan able to accommodate five. In 2018, the coupe was ditched and then bigger sedan construction was made. It was made more elegant with more spacious trunk area. Despite the midsize tag, the sedan is more known as the ‘big car’– with 40 inches for the legroom on the back.

2023 Honda Accord Engine and Performance

It says that 2023 Accord will come with two types of four-cylinder turbo engine as well as the possibility of hybrid engine. No one is worried about whatever types of engine the company uses because they are sure the handle would be balanced and perfect, boasting comfortable and enjoyable driving, no matter what road condition they have.

The standard engine would be a four-cylinder turbocharged 1.5 liter engine, producing 192 hp of power and 192 Nm of torque. The optional one would be a turbocharged 2.0 liter engine, producing 252 hp of power and 273 Nm of torque. The 1.5 liter may be accompanied by the CVT while the 2.0 liter would be coming with auto 10-speed transmission. Many have hoped that the midsize sedan would be coming with manual 6-speed transmission, and we don’t know how Honda will respond to it.

Overall Design – Inside and Out

When we are thinking about the plans for 2023 Honda Accord, there are certainly several updated works to do. Whether they are significant and big or small and minor, we can’t tell that for sure now. In the higher trims, materials and their quality would be similar to those in luxury sedans– and definitely better than other inexpensive competitors.

On the exterior area, updated bumper is a definite thing although the update is very light and minor. For the inside, it is highly likely that the company won’t do any dramatic or drastic change, considering that it is still very modern and fresh. All the good things will stay, hopefully. And it includes button transmission, clean and fresh middle stack, horizontal lines focus, and floating (infotainment) screen. Minor updates may be about infotainment system and other accents.

2023 Honda Accord Release Date and Price

There isn’t any info about the availability and price. But it is likely that Accord will be available at this year, around fall. And the price may not be too far from the current one, set between $25,000 and $37.000. Let’s just wait and see for further updates of 2023 Honda Accord, shall we?
