2020 Jaguar E-Pace exterior design is best in the segment
You can weather like it or not, but the exterior design of the 2020 Jaguar E-Pace is among the best designs in the segment. The front end provides an astonishing look thanks to the gorgeous grille and cat-eye headlights. The exterior looks aggressive thanks to the shorter overhangs and strong character lines. Furthermore, the wheels are looking really big on such a compact vehicle. The 17-inch wheels will be standard and you can opt for the optional 18,19 or 20-inch rollers. The rear part adds modern exhaust ports with chrome materials. No doubt, this crossover SUV looks really impressive and the off-roading will be better now thanks to some changes and upgrades. For the start, Jaguar delivers more high-strength steel on the body of the E-Pace, instead of aluminum. It is actually a perfect combination of the British carmaker, as the car weight will be the same as before. Visually, the exterior design is very sleek, sporty and mean.
2020 Jaguar E-Pace offers amazing cabin
The quality of the interior design could be easily compared to the exterior design. The 2020 Jaguar E-Pace model comes with an amazing cabin that sports plenty of premium materials and astonishing technologies. Displays in high-resolution are configurable and the analog gauges will be replaced by the all-digital units. The latest infotainment system is working great, it is more intuitive and is very user-friendly. If you want a sleek and luxurious cabin that looks somewhat futuristic, E-Pace is the right choice, no doubt about it.The seats are comfortable and the front seats are offering ample legroom and headroom. Unfortunately, second row seats are tight for taller passengers and you the difference between the front and rear seats is clearly visible. The cargo room isn’t that generous, so if you are always carrying a lot of stuff, E-Pace isn’t the best choice. The interior theme is sporty and the cabin really combines tradition with sportiness and modern design.
2020 Jaguar E-Pace powertrain options
The upcoming 2020 Jaguar E-Pace will offer a single drivetrain option. However, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine comes in a two different configuration. With that in mind, lower trims such as S, SE and First Edition will be rated at 246 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. This output delivers 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Moreover, a 9-speed automatic transmission is available, along with the all-wheel-drive setup that is standard even on the base model.Upper trims such as R-Dynamic, S, Se, and HSE will use the same engine with the higher output. As we wrote, this stronger configuration adds an additional 50 horses. That means those trim levels will produce 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy will stay the same.
2020 Jaguar E-Pace SVR model review
It looks like the Jaguar is refusing the follow the path of the other rivals and decides to take the first step with its E-Pace SVR model. This variant will look very muscular and sporty, and the performance will be astonishing. We expect from BMW to roll out the X1-M model and Audi will for sure deliver RS Q3 model. With that in mind, Jaguar will try to take an advantage and release the all-new E-Pace SVR. This variant will look very aggressive and the exterior will sport vented hood and carbon inserts. On top of that, the interior will see a completely different layout and it will get a couple of more exclusive features and amenities. More aluminum trims will be standard, and carbon-fiber materials will be optional. When it comes to performance, the 2020 Jaguar E-Pace SVR will not use a 2.0-liter engine as the base model. This performance-oriented model will most likely use a 3.0-liter supercharged V6. This engine can produce up to 380 HP and around 440 lb-ft of torque, which is a lot. Of course, fuel economy will be lower, but that’s what you get for a model that is all about the performance.
