Acura revived the iconic NSX sports car back in 2016 if you didn’t know. Nothing significantly didn’t change since then, except for a mild upgrade for the 2019 model year. 2022 Acura NSX Powertrain Specs
As the current model, the new 2022 Acura NSX will most likely use the same powertrain. The current model uses a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 and three electric motors. Thanks to this system, the NSX sports car is able to produce 573 horsepower. Power is routed to all four wheels through a new nine-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It uses Acura’s Super Handling all-wheel-drive system (SH-AWD) as standard.
Acura NSX Type R
The high-performance model Acura NSX Type R will be finally available, and according to some rumors, it will use revised electric motors that will pump out around 640 horsepower. Compared to the regular model, that’s about 70 horses more.
